Tyranid Conversions - Toxin Sacs

I used the same appraoch for all of my Toxin Sac applications. Basically, I place them on the forearm, with the bulbous portion of the sac near/at the elbow.

Process

Materials

  • The model to be modified, in my case a Flying Hive Tyrant or Gaunt
  • For each arm, 1 Toxin Sac Biomorphs from the Gaunt Sprue (6 per sprue)
  • Plastic cement

Procedure

  1. Clean the biomorph of flash.
  2. Apply glue to the spot where you want the Toxin Sac (Hive Tyrant arm shown)

  3. Put down the Toxin Sac, and adjust position as needed.
  4. Aplly a small amount of glue to the edges with a fine tipped applicator such as Faller Expert to close any gaps or reduce an unnatural edge/step. That's it! (Gaunt arm shown for finished step below)
