The
Warp Skein Conflict (Fast Warp's EoT Gameday)
Why yes, we are
having an Eye of Terror event! Basically, it's two battles.
Here are the tentative details:
Date: Sunday, August
10, 2003
Time: 10:00 AM until we're done*
Warzone: Chinchare Sector
Army List Guidelines - Check

* - I am aiming
to be done at a reasonable time, say 6:00 PM or so, but I
realize that a megabattle can get out of hand and the room
is reserved for however long we need it.
Basic plan
Phase 0 - turn in
armies
Phase 1 - Artifacts
Go Boom
- One randomly
determined detachment from your army
- Standard single
battle pairings - Players pair off into Order/Disorder
pairs
- Objective - The
battles will revolve around an objective(s) that need to
be secured, destroyed, and/or held.

Phase 2 - Battle
for the Warp Skein
- Armies will consist
of the remnants of Phase 1 plus your other detachment.
- Mega battle -
Order vs. Disorder, victory is determined by which faction
wins.
- Objective - reaching/securing/destroying
a specific objective(s) on the board that everyone wants.
In this battle, it will be Order vs. Disorder.
- We will probably
have time limits on phases or turns to keep things rolling
along.

Events
Rumor has it that
the Battle Tour will in fact be local Outriders traveling
around with a cool terrain board and running cool events.
While that is cool, it is not a GW Battlewagon, so the
cool bitz will not be there (only the northeast battle
tour has the Battlewagon). Fair warning.
